Toyota Sales Report of July 2026
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported a steady automotive performance for July 2026, driven by sustained domestic consumer demand across its multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and sports utility vehicle (SUV) portfolios. The Japanese carmaker dispatched 30,516 units in the domestic market last month, representing a solid 5% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to the 29,159 units sold in July 2025.
However, overall sales (including exports) remained virtually flat with a marginal 0.18% dip, settling at 32,516 units. This slight slowdown in cumulative volume was primarily caused by a significant 41.45% drop in outbound shipments, which plummeted to 2,000 units compared to 3,416 units in the same month last fiscal year.

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, Toyota recorded a healthy 7.3% growth trajectory in domestic dispatches, climbing from the 28,441 units recorded in June 2026. Cumulatively, TKM’s domestic footprint remains highly resilient through the first four months of the fiscal year (April–July 2026), accounting for 1,19,690 units—a notable 9.08% expansion over the corresponding period last year.
The sustained domestic surge continues to be heavily anchored by high-volume products like the Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Urban Cruiser Taisor, and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, supported by steady demand for the Glanza and Rumion hatch-and-MPV models. Furthermore, the recent commercial launch of the ninth-generation Hilux, starting at Rs. 31.99 Lakh (ex-showroom), is expected to give the brand an extra layer of premium growth as the highly competitive Indian festive season approaches.
