Kia India has rewritten its sales records by posting its highest-ever July wholesale performance since entering the Indian market. The automaker dispatched a staggering 28,200 units to dealers last month, registering a massive 27.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to the 22,135 units recorded in July 2025. This momentum extends into a highly successful calendar year, with cumulative January–July volumes reaching 1,91,949 units—a solid 16.8% jump over the same period last year.

The core volume driver remains the ubiquitous Kia Seltos, which has consistently anchored the brand’s growth alongside the Sonet. The mid-size SUV has maintained an incredible run, averaging over 10,000 units every single month since its January launch.
Additionally, the brand is receiving widespread traction for its expanded product line-up, including the Carens Clavis, Carens Clavis EV, and the MY26 Syros. However, the real spotlight belongs to the newly launched Kia Syros EV, the brand’s second made-in-India mass-market electric SUV. The premium e-SUV has locked in highly positive initial bookings, heavily driven by its advanced technological offerings and a highly competitive, segment-challenging claimed driving range of over 500 km on a single charge.
