Where to buy Fastag and how to activate it?

Fastag system has been implemented to make toll tax payment simple and fast at toll plazas located on highways in the country.

Fastag works like a prepaid recharge card, which is pasted as a sticker on the windshield of vehicles. It pays the tax by scanning through the toll plaza system through Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.

Where to buy a Fastag?

You can buy Fastag online from any online retailer like Amazon, SBI, ICICI, HDFC, Axis Bank, Paytm and IDFC First Bank.
You can also buy it from there by visiting the official websites of these retailers or downloading their mobile apps.

Apart from these, Fastag can also be taken from National Highway Fee Plaza, Regional Transport Office, Common Service Centre, Transport Hub and Point of Sale (POS) of petrol pumps.

how you can activate Fastag online?

After purchasing Fastag, download My Fastag application on your smartphone and click on Activate NHAI Fastag option. Next, select the website from where you purchased Fastag.

To activate it, enter your ID or scan the QR code. In this, enter the required information about your vehicle and link your bank account or select the prepaid wallet with which you want to recharge the Fastag account.
