2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift Launched in India: Design, Engine, Features, Safety and Price
Toyota has launched the 2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift in India with updated styling, new features and a new three-cylinder petrol engine. Prices for the facelifted premium hatchback start at Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota offers the new Glanza in five trims: E, S, G, V and V (O). The facelift follows the recent update to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which shares its platform and mechanical components with the Glanza.
The new model gets a revised front-end design, additional cabin features and Level 2 ADAS technology. Toyota has also added two new exterior colours. The Glanza continues to target buyers looking for a premium hatchback with petrol and CNG powertrain options.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Design
The 2026 Toyota Glanza gets most of its exterior changes at the front. It now features a larger grille with satin-finished trims on both sides.
The front bumper also gets redesigned LED fog lamp housings, while the Toyota logo has moved from the grille to the plastic trim below the bonnet. A radar module sits at the front to support the new ADAS functions. Toyota has also added a shark-fin antenna to the updated hatchback.
The side profile remains largely unchanged. The Glanza continues with 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles and chrome window-line trim. At the rear, the hatchback retains its wraparound LED tail-lamps, roof-mounted spoiler and rear wiper with washer. Toyota has also introduced two new colours called Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Powertrain
The biggest mechanical change comes under the bonnet. Toyota has replaced the outgoing 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a new Z12E 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. In petrol mode, it produces 83hp and 112Nm. The engine comes with a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed AMT. An idle start/stop system also helps improve fuel efficiency.
The updated Glanza continues to offer a CNG powertrain. In CNG mode, the same engine produces 70hp and 102Nm. Toyota offers the CNG version with a five-speed manual and five-speed AMT. The new three-cylinder engine produces slightly less power than the outgoing unit but focuses on improved fuel efficiency.
2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Cabin and Features
The basic dashboard layout of the Glanza remains unchanged, but Toyota has added several new features. The facelift gets new leatherette seat upholstery and ventilated front seats. It also features a wireless phone charger with a cooling vent underneath to help manage heat during charging.
The feature list continues to include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a monochrome head-up display, analogue instrument dials with a coloured MID and automatic climate control with rear AC vents. Toyota has also added a four-speaker and two-tweeter Clarion sound system. A tyre pressure monitoring system is also available.
The cabin retains the familiar layout of the outgoing Glanza, while the new equipment gives the facelift a more comprehensive feature package.
2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Safety Features
The major safety upgrade on the 2026 Glanza is the addition of a Level 2 ADAS suite. The system uses the front-mounted radar to provide advanced driver assistance functions. The updated hatchback also retains six airbags as standard, along with a 360-degree camera and hill-hold control.
Other safety equipment includes ISOFIX child-seat anchors and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The ADAS package adds another layer of driver assistance to the Glanza and brings features previously unavailable on the outgoing model. Toyota has positioned the updated safety package as one of the key upgrades for the facelift.
The Glanza continues to offer electronic safety systems alongside its passive safety equipment, while the 360-degree camera helps provide a clearer view around the vehicle during parking and low-speed manoeuvres.
2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Price and Rivals
The 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift starts at Rs. 6.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) across five trims. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz in India.
